Bloom Art and Integrated Therapies

We strive to empower individuals and strengthen communities.

Bloom is dedicated to transforming lives through holistic art therapy services that are rooted in research-driven, anti-oppressive, and restorative practices. We believe in the healing power of art, and we work to grow vibrant, healthy communities through increasing access to art therapy. The practitioners at Bloom integrate counseling and art therapy approaches with integrity to ease suffering, facilitate regulation, promote self-expression and create opportunities for growth. Bloom is an innovator in the art therapy world and continues to expand its offerings to meet the emerging needs of the greater Milwaukee area through collaborating with community partners. In all of Bloom’s art therapy locations, you will find an inclusive space to receive mental health services, share community strengths and connect to creative experiences.

Community Collaborations

Bloom works with community partners to provide art therapy services to Milwaukee residents across the lifespan. Through these collaborations, art therapy sessions and groups are free to clients and participants.

Art Therapy for Individuals

Bloom offers individual, couples, and family art therapy and counseling services out of our central location in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point. Our therapists work with private insurance, state insurance, self-pay and sliding scale payment options.

Support for Communities

Bloom provides art therapy events and experiences to the community. Wellness workshops and community art studios are ways to learn more about art therapy in a group setting with professional art therapists.

Art Therapists are credentialed professionals...

trained in both art and therapy. They are knowledgeable about human development, psychological theories, clinical practice, spiritual, multicultural and artistic traditions, and the healing potential of art. Registration (ATR) is granted upon completion of graduate education and post-graduate supervised experience. Some states regulate the practice of art therapy and in many states art therapists can become licensed as counselors or mental health therapists.
