Bloom is an innovator in the world of art therapy.

Founded in community-based programs, Bloom’s commitment to evidence-based practice goes back to 2012. Since the beginning, Bloom has been dedicated to transforming lives by providing accessible, holistic art therapy services. Community engagement, research, and education are consistently at the forefront of our work. As Bloom transformed into a 501(c)(3) non-profit in December of 2021, the organization expanded its reach to all ages while staying rooted in our commitment to inclusive art therapy approaches that serve people of all means and resources. Bloom aims to bring art therapy to underserved populations in Milwaukee and beyond.
At Bloom, we believe in the healing power of art and strive to build vibrant and healthy communities through providing art therapy services with integrity. We know that art therapy eases individual mental health suffering, builds confidence, and fosters a sense of belonging. The practitioners at Bloom integrate counseling and art therapy for healing, growth, regulation, and expression.  Bloom is a place to get mental health services, share community strengths, and a place that prioritizes creativity and wellness. Clients and community participants are encouraged and empowered to feel successful in their lives.
