Work with Bloom

  • Bloom Art and Integrated Therapies, Inc is seeking a therapist who is trained in art therapy, music therapy, dance/movement therapy, or other expressive arts therapies. Bloom is a non-profit art therapy organization that serves Milwaukee and surrounding areas. Our philosophy is highly patient-centered, and our mission is to make quality art therapy and mental health services accessible.

    Clients are seen at our office location, a partner locations, or virtually for telehealth. This position will serve individual clients at Bloom. Services are provided to a variety of clients including but not limited to: children and adolescents who have experienced acute or complex trauma, youth with developmental disabilities, and individuals across the lifespan with mental health needs.

    This full-time or part-time position is to work with youth in the Milwaukee Wraparound Network, a DHHS program. Additional hours can be used to build a caseload and see individual clients of any age at Bloom's Walker's Point location. Bloom is in network with many insurances and the candidate can also accept private-pay or sliding-scale clients. Opportunities are available to work in community art therapy programs. The therapist will be an employee of Bloom Art and Integrated Therapies, Inc. Hours are flexible and determined by the therapist.

    Pay range is based on education, experience, and client caseload. Benefits include: art materials and items necessary for implementing art therapy experiences, yearly licensure reimbursement, professional liability insurance, flexible scheduling, and free gym membership on location. Bloom Art and Integrated Therapies, Inc offers a supportive culture, with weekly supervision meetings emphasizing collaboration and self-care. Opportunities for supervision hours toward LPC and ATR are available.

    Requirements:

    -All applicants must have earned a master’s degree in art therapy or related health fields.

    -LPC and ATR preferred. LPC-IT required.

    -Therapist must be flexible, organized, detail oriented, dependable, reliable, creative, collaborative, communicate well, have necessary documentation skills, willing to learn, professional, and punctual. Bi-lingual/Spanish speaking is a bonus.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Salary: Up to $80,000.00 per year

  • We are seeking a passionate community leader to join our Board of Directors. An ideal candidate would have a background in public art or community art projects.

    Bloom’s Board meets virtually on the second Wednesday of the month from 7-8 pm.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to support the organization's mission and growth.

    • Provide oversight and guidance on financial matters, including financial reporting, auditing, and risk management.

    • Leverage connections to help secure funding for the organization's programs and operations.

    • Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

    • Participate in board meetings and offer expertise on financial and fundraising matters.

    • Bloom strives to have a 100% giving Board and encourages each Director to make a financial contribution based on their capacity.
